Yankees Baseball Camps: Skills for NJ Kids on and off the Field

3/29/15 - By Linda DiProperzio

Summer and baseball go hand-in-hand, and in the Garden State the Yankees are the only team that matters. So if you can find a camp that combines your child's love for The Bronx Bombers with his passion for playing ball, that's a grand slam. Well, get ready to start jogging the bases, New Jersey families, because our sponsor Yankees Baseball Camps provides the best of both worlds for your future Hall of Famer.

Whether your child dreams about becoming the next Derek Jeter or simply wants to improve his skills so he can have more fun on the field, Yankees Baseball Camps make for a summer to remember. With top-notch instructors and coaches that can take a player’s game to the next level—along with unique experiences sure to thrill any Yankees fan—this camp is designed to teach and motivate players, ages 5 to 13.

The Yankees Baseball Camp curriculum was created by a decorated baseball coach and MLB scout and is tailored to meet each camper’s age and ability level. The staff is made up of professionally-trained coaches with extensive experience at the youth, high school, collegiate and pro levels—so players of every level can get the challenge and support they need.

All campers are separated into groups by their upcoming grade, as well as physical strength and ability. A typical day runs from 9am-3pm (extended care is available in the mornings and afternoons), with drills and lessons that help campers develop proper footwork and glove work, improve swinging and throwing skills and more. But the emphasis isn’t solely on becoming a better player—the staff strives to teach the core values of leadership, teamwork and effort over results so that each camper leaves a stronger athlete on the field and a better leader off it.

And to satisfy those die-hard Yankees fans, every camper also receives:

  • A full Yankees uniform, including hat, jersey, pants, socks and belt
  • A field trip to Yankee Stadium on a Major League charter bus, including exclusive tour of the stadium
  • A photo autographed by a player on the Yankees current roster
  • A 45-minute “Meet and Greet" with a player on the Yankees current roster

Space in all sessions is limited, so you’ll want to enroll ASAP to secure a spot in one of these convenient locations:
