Van Saun County Park (Paramus)
As if Van Saun wasn’t awesome enough, a fun pond-themed splash pad made its debut in the Harmony Playground last summer. The little ones will love channeling frogs as they hop among the lily pads, run through the misty aquatic plants and splash around in the mini pool. In addition to the water fun, the daytrip-worthy Van Saun features multiple playgrounds, a carousel, train and zoo.

Warinanco Park (Roselle)
The sprawling Warinanco Park is like Union County’s own Central Park, with activities that include boating, skating, hiking, biking and picnicking, to name a few. And this spring, the park premiered a fresh new playground with water play, located near the boat house. The sprayground features a giant tree fountain and over 100 spray jets, so be prepared to get wet!

Michael Lepp Park (Somerville)
Somerset County gave a warm, wet welcome to its first water playground, introduced last summer. The colorful pad is a delightful addition to Michael Lepp Park. After splashing around in the water, have some dry fun at the playground and picnic areas.

Fasola Park (Deptford)
Last year, Fasola Park premiered a new 100-square foot, vibrant playground. This June, a splash pad has been added to the fun. Kids will love running through the spray jets, which they can control by pushing buttons.

James Braddock Park (North Bergen)
With views of the New York City skyline, this spectacular Hudson County park encompasses Woodcliff Lake, picnic areas, nature trails, fields and a renovated, castle themed-playground. The new spray area within the playground has been a big hit among visitors.

Bud Simmons Park (Roselle)
Some locals aren’t familiar with this hidden gem, which opened a couple of years ago. Bud Simmons, also called Pine Street Park, is a cute, fenced-in playground, housed in a residential neighborhood of Roselle. Within the forest-themed playground is an enclosed spray area with animal-shaped sprinklers. The clean park also features playground equipment a basketball court and gazebo.

Manalapan Recreation (Manalapan)
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for this brand-spankin' new splashpad just took place in early July. The sport-themed splash pad is located near the town's turf field and open to all visitors.
