Materials:
Bottle caps and foam stickers or rubber stamps
Cotton fabric square or handkerchief
Ink- look for acid free and archival quality
Or non-washable markers
1. Make sure to pre-wash your fabric before you begin stamping. This will allow the color to really soak into the fibers and create a holiday gift that can be treasured for a lifetime.
2. You can make your own rubber stamps using bottle caps and foam stickers or you can use any rubber stamps you have. Or go freehand and use fabric markers, sharpies or paints and let the kids create their own designs.
If you are working with younger children, use colors that blend well together; like red and blue. That way, even mistakes simply turn into a homemade touch.
