OUR LATEST VIDEOS

Pole Position Raceway is a beautiful, clean indoor race space with the ambiance of a real Nascar event. When you walk in you feel like you are in an expensive high-end Ferrari dealership. There is authentic race memorabilia everywhere and checkered floors. The carts are imported from Italy and are battery powered-- no need to worry about emissions or smoke! Parents and their children check in on iPad kiosks and wait for their names to show up on the big screen ("Arrive and Drive"). Adults race 15 laps and children race 8 laps.

Pole Position racers must be 10 years old or 48 inches tall and because the company is serious about safety, each racer must watch a 2 minute safety video in the pit and wear a helmet. All racers must wear closed toe shoes. Adults never race children and if someone is driving unsafely, the race can be stopped remotely. Children race at slower speeds than adults, but trust me, they will never notice!

Pole Position offers Race Clinics and camps and is a great place to hold an event, fundraiser, birthday party or bar/bat mitzvah. There are three events spaces, one enclosed room separate from the track and two spaces overlooking the track. There are also arcade games and pool tables as well as tables to snack at or rest from the excitement.

I have to admit that I had as much fun, or even more fun, than my kids! I  have never had any interest in racing and was a bit scared, but after one lap, I was having the time of my life. I could definitely see this being a great ladies night out event! My kids also asked when we could come back, something they rarely do, which speaks volumes for Pole Position Raceway.

Cost: Junior Racers (48-58 inches tall): $22/race; Youth and Adult Racers (56 inches or taller): $25/race

All drivers must have a temporary race license ($5) that is valid for one week.

If you plan on racing more than one time a year, a membership is definitely worth your money. As a member you will receive exclusive discounts and a free race during your birthday month as well as a t-shirt.
