What's Happening! The Week in Review

4/2/10 - By Anna Fader

There's so much going on we thought it might be helpful to provide a quick weekly round-up of all the things we've posted and what's hot to make it easier to follow along. If this is helpful, let us know.

OUR LATEST VIDEOS

Posted this week:
This week was full of Easter fun like information on the Easter Bonnet Parade and a more unusual Greek Orthodox Celebrations in Astoria, Easter Bunny Photo Ops in NYC, LI and NJ.

We started a new feature: Down Time and share some family bonding time ideas with A Living Room Camp Out.

We also reviewed the Whitney Biennial and share highlights of the show for kids and family programs, the new, awesome Deedle Deedle Dee Monthly Family Variety Shows, and a listing of the museums that have Free Monthly Times and Family Programs (many of them this weekend).

Lastly, after years of exhaustive (and exhausting) research we share our top 7 Great Preschool Birthday Party Places in NYC.

And, of course, our weekend events post, which is packed with fun stuff to do this weekend.

From Our Long Island Page: We found some great Indoor Gyms and Playgrounds with Open Play Times. This weekend's events include lots of Easter Bunnies and Egg Hunts and Srping Festivals. Se our full list of LI Easter Egg Hunts.

From Our New Jersey Page: Train-lovers will enjoy meeting the Easter Bunny on the Easter Express classic train rides. And there are tons of other NJ Weekend Events involving bunnies, Big Bird, Beatrix Potter, and more.
