WOW, I think the Hoboken Family Alliance, who sponsor this free indoor event, have read the minds of all us weary parents who haven't gotten out much this winter! Yes, this jam-packed event will entertain (and perhaps exhaust) your whole family with a variety of activities such as kid's yoga, sports clinics, dance workshops, as well as Valentine's day crafts and the always popular face painting. You'll also have the opportunity to enjoy performances throughout the morning by local favorites and raffles throughout the event; you can also learn about local camps and other summer activity options. $20 per family payable at the door. 10AM - 2PM. Science of the Circus  (Jersey City)
This event at Liberty Science Center is sure to fascinate AND educate both kids and adults with the performers at Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey demonstrating many laws and principles of physics, such as balance, gravity, and momentum. This is an entertaining way to teach kids that the circus isn't just about cotton candy, popcorn and animals! Free with museum admission. Showtimes at 12pm and 1:30pm. Your kids will enjoy watching or participating in traditional winter chores such as ice cutting (weather permitting), tree tapping for maple syrup, sawing wood, cracking corn, collecting eggs and churning butter.
