Toddler Trek: Bear Buddies (Chatham)
Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center invites 2-3 year olds for a beary-fun event. The kids will learn all about New Jersey’s biggest mammal through stories and other activities. Pre-registration is required.

Turkey Puppets (Marlboro)
Get ready for Thanksgiving at Marlboro Public Library’s turkey craft event. Kids can create their own turkey puppets. Pre-registration is required.

Here’s a great opportunity to introduce the little ones to museum culture. Montclair Art Museum hosts a monthly workshop for 2-5 year olds that includes an art project, stories in the galleries and a museum tour.

Rutgers Children’s Choir Drop-In Day: Little Knights (New Brunswick)
Do you have a budding singer in the family? Kindergarten through second graders are invited to sit in on a rehearsal with the Rutgers Children’s Choir. Children may participate, or just observe, and perhaps decide if they’d like to audition in January. Pre-registration is required. FREE

Have a yummy time at this Atlantic Highlands Public Library event where crafts will be created out of candy corn. Story time is included as well. FREE
