Northern NJ:
Toddler Trek: Creepy Crawlies (Chatham)
The hunt for bugs is on! Embark on a short hike with your 2-3 year olds at Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center, and learn about all kinds of insects. There will be a story time as well. Pre-registration is required.

Jersey Shore:
Read to the Dogs (Holmdel)
Kids 5-8 are invited to share stories with therapy dogs at Holmdel Public Library. FREE

Great Pumpkin Festival (Vernon)
Don’t miss Northern New Jersey’s biggest fall festival, held at Heaven Hill Farm. Over 30 activities are featured, including hayrides, pumpkin-picking, a corn maze, obstacle course, corn box and much more. Festival runs Wednesday through Friday plus weekends.

Jersey Shore:
Kids Art Hour (Lincroft)
Create projects using recycled materials at Monmouth Museum’s Green Art Studio. A new project is introduced each week using different types of arts and crafts.
