This week kicks off with President’s Day. How are you going to keep the little ones busy on their day off from school? Check out the many opportunities for a Monday fun day, including the busy, and free, Family Day at State Theatre and Trailside’s Fantasy, Illusion and Magic Show. Celebrate another festive day, Chinese New Year, at Reeves-Reed Arboretum. Plus, take advantage of opportunities for grown-up time while the kids are entertained at Hip Mom Hangout or Small Factory’s Kids' Night Out. Family Day at the State Theatre (New Brunswick)
Spend President’s Day at this active event, jam-packed with fun. The festivities, which take place throughout five venues, include Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild Live, plus balloon animals, crafts, face painting, giveaways and more. FREE admission (show tickets and some events require fees)

Northern NJ:
Fantasy, Illusion and Magic Show (Mountainside)
Abracadabra! Come to Trailside Nature & Science Center for an exciting magic show with audience participation.

Pre-School Walk: Tricky Tracks (Montville)
Bundle up to take a hike in the mud or snow and learn about movements of different animals. After the walk, create a track-themed craft at the Pyramid Mountain Visitors Center. Pre-registration is required.
