Halloween Fun for LI Kids in the Hamptons & North Fork
Ghouls, goblins and scary get-ups are all the rage this time of year. On the East End of Long Island, there are as many ways to celebrate Halloween as there are seeds in a pumpkin. From the North Fork to the South, we’ve rounded up a few of our favorites just in time for the holiday. Here you’ll find haunted houses, spooky walks, parties and even trick-or-treating tips to keep your young ones in the spirit of the season.

Darkside Haunted House - Wading River

At 14,000 square feet of heart-stopping haunts, Darkside is among the most popular haunted attractions on Long Island. The house features 30 frightful scenes, both indoors and out. Be warned, however: It is not for young children; tweens and older please.

Bring your pet (in costume or not) to downtown Southampton and show off your Halloween spirit. Prizes are awarded and there will be plenty of rescue dogs for adoption. Proceeds benefit Southampton Animal Shelter.
Trunk or Treat - Southampton

Decorate your car and treat area kids to some Halloween fun. Kids trick-or-treat from trunk to trunk as the Southampton Town Youth Bureau transforms the youth center into a haunted house.
