Playing With Shadows in Honor of Groundhog Day at Grounds for Sculpture (Hamilton, NJ)
If you've never been to MP favorite Grounds for Sculpture, this might be the start of something beautiful. And furry. The Annual Groundhog Day Celebration on Saturday, February 1 from 11am to 4pm includes a musical performance of "Two of a King" and many shadow-inspired activities. Chocolate Festival at Morris Museum (Morristown, NJ)

Hoboken Family Alliance Cabin Fever 2014 (Hoboken, NJ)
Local kid musicians, Hoboken dance performances, face painter, balloons, spin art, arts & crafts, games, and much more. Oh, and the representatives from ten NJ summer camps will be on hand to answer any and all of your questions, which is a nice little extra. Masters of Illusion at Mayo Performing Arts Center (Morristown, NJ)
Have a mini-magician in the house? The live version of the TV show that has been revived numerous times over the last decade comes to one of our favorite venues, the Mayo Performing Arts Center. Maple Sugaring (various locations in NJ)
'Tis the season for liquid sugar pouring out of trees and New Jersey has a ton of locations for maple sugaring, including Tenafly Nature Center, the Environmental Education Center, and Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center. Sweeeet.
Family Day at the State Theater (New Brunswick, NJ)
It's President's Day, a day off from school, and a big ol' family day spread across five venues—the State Theatre, the Hub City Big Top (heated tent), Crossroads Theatre, United Methodist Church, and George Street Playhouse. With performances, workshops, food, face painting, balloon animals, and Turtle Back Zoo's Amazing Animal Adaptations, this sounds like a blast. Monday, February 17 from 10am to 3pm.
