When school is out, kids (Pre K - Grade 5) can keep learning and have fun. Children will explore Tenafly Nature Center woods and trails, make crafts, share stories and play games while learning about the environment. Activities include searching for animal tracks, making and tasting real maple syrup, eating s’mores around a campfire, and lots more. Children should bring a refillable water bottle, snack, and lunch for the full day programs. Winter gear recommended (snow pants, boots, gloves etc.). Program held snow or shine. Children may attend individual days.
Children in Pre-K & K may attend full or half-day (9am - noon / 12:30 - 3:30pm) sessions.
Be sure to sign up early; space is limited and pre-registration is required. Current family membership ($50) is required for TNC camps.
