The Stoney Island Arts Bank hosts an intimate chamber music experience by D-Composed Family Edition. There will be a DIY instrument workshop for kids from 12:30 – 1:00pm, followed by a performance from 1:00 – 2:00pm. 

Attendees will hear specially hand-picked arrangements suitable for the whole family to enjoy. Each song lasts no more than 5 minutes.

Each work pays homage to black composers.

Prior to the show, little ones can enjoy a brief DIY instrument making workshop. The rhythms and sounds from their handmade instruments will come in handy during the performance.

Once the program concludes, younger attendees can get up close and personal with the instruments with a show and tell.

Coloring books featuring music inspired sketches will be available for purchase. The show is BYOB (bring your blanket).

Beverages will be for sale in the Arts Bank bar. D-Composed Family Edition is free and open to the public.
